Off-Page SEO in Nepal at a glance
Links still matter. When a respected site links to yours, Google reads it as a vote of confidence. But the old shortcuts (buying 500 links on Fiverr, commenting on blogs) now do more harm than good. Google's spam updates are very good at spotting them.
We build links the slow, safe way. We pitch stories and data to Nepali news and business sites, get your experts quoted, list you in proper directories, and find places where a link to you genuinely helps the reader. Fewer links, but each one counts.
Problems we fix
Toxic links
Past agencies bought cheap links that now hold rankings back.
No authority
Good content that doesn't rank because no one links to it.
Inconsistent listings
Different addresses and phone numbers across directories confuse Google Maps.

Which backlinks actually help a Nepali website?
Links from relevant, real websites that people read: Nepali news and business portals, industry associations, suppliers and partners, local directories with genuine traffic, and articles on blogs in your field. One link from a respected Nepali news site is worth more than hundreds of spam links.
Relevance matters as much as authority. A trekking company gains more from a link on a travel blog or a tourism association page than from a general directory. We look at who links to your top competitors and go after the sources that make sense for your business.
Brand mentions count too, even without a link. They help Google and AI tools understand that your business is real and known in its field, which feeds directly into how AI answers recommend companies.
Are cheap backlink packages safe?
No. Packages offering hundreds of links for a few thousand rupees use link farms, spammy guest-post networks or hacked sites. At best Google ignores them; at worst your site gets a manual penalty and drops out of search. Cleaning that up costs far more than the package did.
If you've bought links in the past, we audit your backlink profile, ask site owners to remove harmful links where possible, and use Google's disavow tool for the rest.
How do you build links without buying them?
By creating things worth linking to and telling the right people about them: original data and price guides, expert comments for journalists, partnerships with suppliers and associations, local citations, and fixing broken links that point to pages like yours.
- Digital PR with Nepali news and business portals
- Original surveys and price guides others cite
- Supplier, partner and association listings
- Consistent citations on directories and maps
- Broken-link and unlinked-mention outreach
How do Nepali news sites and directories help SEO?
Links and mentions from established Nepali news portals, business directories and industry associations tell Google your business is real and relevant in Nepal. They also feed AI tools, which use those same sources to decide which businesses to mention.
Getting featured usually takes a story worth telling: original data, a useful price guide, an expert comment on a trend, or a community project. That's slower than buying links, but it lasts and doesn't put your site at risk.
How do you measure link building?
By the number and quality of new referring domains, their relevance, the pages they point to, and, most importantly, ranking and traffic changes for those pages.
Is guest posting still useful?
On genuine, relevant sites with real readers, yes. On sites that exist only to sell posts, no; Google discounts or penalises those links.
By the numbers

Off-Page SEO: frequently asked questions
What is off-page SEO?
Actions outside your website that improve its authority: backlinks, brand mentions, reviews, citations and social signals.
How many backlinks do I need?
It depends on competitors. Quality and relevance matter more than the number.
Do you buy links?
No. Paid links that pass PageRank break Google's guidelines and put your site at risk.
How long before links help rankings?
Usually 1–3 months after a link is indexed.
Can you remove bad backlinks?
We request removal and, if needed, submit a disavow file to Google.
Does social media count as off-page SEO?
Indirectly. Social activity builds brand searches and mentions, which help.
