Graphic Design in Nepal at a glance
Most customers judge a business in a second or two: the signboard, the visiting card, the Facebook cover, the menu on the table. If those look home-made or don't match each other, people quietly assume the service will be the same. Good design fixes that before anyone reads a word.
Our designers sit with the same team that builds websites and runs ads, so your logo is designed to work on a phone screen, a shop board and a 1080 × 1080 Instagram post, not just in a PDF. You get one consistent look across print and online, and the original files are yours.
Problems we fix
A logo that only works in one place
It looks fine on the signboard but turns into a blur as a Facebook profile picture or on a printed bill.
Every post looks different
Different fonts and colours each week, so people don't recognise your brand while scrolling.
Print surprises
Visiting cards and flyers come back from the press with wrong colours, cut-off text or low-resolution images.

How much does a logo cost in Nepal?
Logo design in Nepal ranges from about NPR 2,000 on freelance marketplaces to NPR 50,000+ at branding agencies. Most small businesses pay NPR 8,000–25,000 for an original logo with proper files. Our logo package is NPR 10,000.
The cheap end usually means a template with your name typed in, delivered as a single JPG. That's fine for a quick test, but you'll hit problems the first time a sign shop asks for a vector file or the logo needs to sit on a dark background.
What you're paying for in a proper logo is thinking (what should the brand say?), several original options, revisions, and files that work everywhere: SVG and AI for print, PNG for social, and versions for light and dark backgrounds.
- Template logo: NPR 2,000–5,000, one file, not unique
- Freelance original logo: NPR 5,000–15,000
- Agency logo with brand basics: NPR 10,000–30,000
- Full brand identity with guidelines: NPR 25,000–1,00,000+
What does visiting card design cost in Nepal?
Visiting card design usually costs NPR 1,500–5,000 for the design alone, depending on whether you already have a logo. Printing is extra: roughly NPR 1,000–3,000 per 100–500 cards at most Kathmandu presses, more for special paper or finishes.
We include a visiting card in the brand identity package. On its own, we design it with your logo and set it up for the press you choose, with bleed and safe margins so nothing gets cut off.
Two tips that save money: ask the press for a proof before the full run, and keep the back of the card useful (a QR code to your WhatsApp or Google Maps listing works better than a slogan).
Canva or a professional designer?
Use Canva for quick everyday posts once your brand is set. Hire a designer for the logo, the brand style and the templates, so your Canva posts stay consistent instead of looking like everyone else's.
Many Nepali businesses use the same popular Canva templates, which is why so many Dashain and Tihar posts look identical. A designer can build you a set of custom Canva templates in your own colours and fonts, so your team can post quickly and still look like you.
How much does visiting card design in Nepal cost?
Visiting card design in Nepal is usually priced per job and costs a few thousand rupees for design alone, with printing extra. At Sigma Nepal, cards are included in our logo and brand identity packages, or we quote them separately when you already have a logo.
A good card uses your exact registered name, phone, address and website, the same details as your Google listing and website. We supply print-ready PDF files with bleed and crop marks, so any printer in Kathmandu can print them without surprises.
Graphic design vs UI/UX design
| Graphic design | UI/UX design | |
|---|---|---|
| Main output | Logos, print, social posts, ads | Website and app screens |
| Question it answers | Does the brand look professional and consistent? | Can people complete tasks easily? |
| Typical tools | Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva | Figma |
| You need it when | Starting, rebranding or posting often | Building or redesigning a site or app |
Common mistakes we fix
| Mistake | What we do instead |
|---|---|
| Logo designed only in colour | We deliver colour, single-colour and white versions for every background |
| Low-resolution JPG as the only file | Vector (AI/SVG) and PDF files for print, PNG for social |
| Different fonts on every post | Two brand fonts and templates the whole team uses |
| Text too close to the edge on cards and banners | Proper bleed and safe zones for Nepali print shops |
| Copying a well-known brand's style | Original concepts researched against your competitors |

Graphic Design: frequently asked questions
How long does logo design take?
Usually 5–7 working days: concepts in 3–4 days, then revisions and final files.
Do I own the logo and files?
Yes. Once paid, the logo and source files are yours, including the editable originals.
Can you design in Nepali as well as English?
Yes. We design with Devanagari fonts for posters, banners and festival posts, and bilingual visiting cards.
Do you also print?
We prepare print-ready files and can recommend presses in Kathmandu; printing is billed by the press.
Can you redesign an existing logo?
Yes. Often a refresh (cleaner shapes, better colours, proper files) is all a logo needs, and it keeps the recognition you've built.
