Business Website in Nepal at a glance
When someone hears your company name, the first thing they do is search for it. If they find an outdated page, a broken Facebook link or nothing at all, you've lost them before the conversation started. In Nepal this happens a lot, because many solid, well-run businesses still don't have a proper website.
A business website doesn't need to be complicated. It needs to answer four questions quickly: what you do, where you are, why people should trust you, and how to reach you. We design every page around those questions, and we make sure Google can show your site when people search for your service in Kathmandu or anywhere in Nepal.
Problems we fix
Only a Facebook page
Facebook is rented space. You can't rank it for your services, and one policy change can wipe out years of posts.
No proof
Without client logos, project photos or reviews, a visitor has no reason to pick you over the next result.
Hard to contact
Phone numbers inside images, forms that don't work, and no map. Each one costs you enquiries.
What's included in our business website service
- Core pages
- Home, About, Services, Projects/Portfolio and Contact, written to rank and to convert.
- Service landing pages
- One page per main service, so you can rank for each search separately.
- Trust section
- Client logos, Google reviews, certifications and registration details where relevant.
- Local SEO setup
- LocalBusiness schema, embedded Google Map, consistent name, address and phone.
- Contact options
- Click-to-call, WhatsApp, a working form with email alerts and an auto-reply.
- Analytics
- GA4 and Search Console so you can see visits and enquiries each month.
Do you still need a website if you have a Facebook page?
Yes. A Facebook page is rented space: reach depends on Meta's algorithm and you can lose the page to a hack or a policy change. A website is yours, appears on Google when people search for your service, and is where serious buyers go to check you're real.
Many businesses in Nepal started on Facebook and it served them well. But when a company, school or hospital wants to compare suppliers, they Google you. If all they find is a Facebook page with the last post from three months ago, they move on to a competitor who looks more established.
The best setup uses both. Social media brings attention, and the website turns that attention into enquiries with service details, prices and a simple form. We link the two, so every post can point somewhere useful.
Which pages should a company website have?
Home, About, one page for each main service, a Contact page with map and hours, and either a portfolio or case studies. A blog or news section, a careers page and an FAQ page are useful extras. Every page should have one clear purpose and one main action.
The most common mistake we see is putting every service on one long page. Google can't rank a single page for ten different searches. Give each service its own page, with its own title, and you can rank for each one separately.
Your About page matters more than you think. It's often the second most visited page on a business site, because people want to know who they're dealing with. Real names, real photos, the year you started and where your office is will do more than paragraphs about your vision and mission.
- Home
- About (team, history, office)
- Services (one page each)
- Work or case studies
- Contact (map, hours, phone, WhatsApp)
- FAQ, blog, careers (optional)
How long does it take to build a business website?
Three to six weeks for most business websites, depending on how many pages you need and how fast content and feedback come back. The design stage usually takes the longest, and waiting for content from the client is the most common delay.
We avoid that delay by writing the copy ourselves after a short interview, then asking you to check it rather than write it from scratch. Most clients find it much easier to correct a draft than to face a blank page.
How much does a business website cost in Nepal?
A simple 5-page company website costs about NPR 30,000. A professional site with up to 12 pages, a unique design, service pages, case studies and SEO setup costs around NPR 65,000. Corporate sites with branches, notices, careers and multiple languages start from NPR 1,20,000.
The 'normal website' many people ask about, a few pages with company profile, services and contact, sits at the lower end. What pushes the price up is the number of unique page designs, how much content needs writing, and features like booking, job applications or a Nepali version.
What makes a company website look trustworthy?
Real photos of your team and office, a physical address with a map, your company registration and PAN/VAT details, named clients or case studies, Google reviews, and a phone number that's answered. Stock photos and vague claims do the opposite.
Online scams have made Nepali customers cautious. The businesses that convert best online are the ones that look like real, reachable people. That's cheap to fix and has a bigger effect than any design trend.
- Team and office photos
- Address, map and opening hours
- Registration and PAN / VAT number
- Named clients and case studies
- Google reviews on the page
- Phone, WhatsApp and Viber that get answered
What should the homepage of a business website say?
What you do, for whom and where, in one sentence at the top; proof that you're real (clients, photos, reviews); your main services as links; and one clear way to contact you. Everything else is secondary.
Visitors decide in a few seconds whether they're in the right place. 'Welcome to our website' wastes that moment; 'Tax and accounting services for SMEs in Kathmandu' uses it.
Do I need a Nepali version of my website?
If many of your customers prefer Nepali, yes, at least for key pages. For B2B, export or tourism businesses, English usually comes first. We can add a Nepali version from the start or later.
A half-translated site looks worse than a good single-language site. If you add Nepali, translate whole pages properly, including buttons, forms and error messages.
