About Sigma Nepal: a Kathmandu IT company that sticks around after launch
We're a team of developers, designers and marketers in Putalisadak. We've been building and growing websites for Nepali businesses since 2020.
Who we are
We started Sigma Nepal because we kept meeting business owners who had paid for a website twice: once to get it built, and again when they found out nobody could find it. The site looked fine. It just wasn't built to be found, and nobody had set up tracking to show whether it brought a single customer.
So we built the company around one idea: the people who build your website should also be accountable for what it does. Our developers write code with search in mind, our SEO team sits next to them, and our marketing people can see which pages actually bring calls. When something isn't working, we see it in the numbers and fix it together.
Most of our clients are small and mid-sized businesses in Nepal: hospitals, consultancies, retailers, manufacturers and travel companies. Some are in Dubai. They all want the same thing, more of the right customers, and they don't want to manage five different vendors to get it.

How we got here
2020
Started with websites for local businesses
Sigma Nepal began as a small team in Kathmandu building websites for shops, clinics and service firms that had never been online, and helping them show up on Google Maps.
2022
Added custom software and ecommerce
Clients kept asking for more than brochure sites: booking systems, inventory tools and online stores with local payments. We grew the engineering side to build them.
2024
SEO, ads and AI search under one roof
We brought SEO, paid media and content in-house, so a client's site and its marketing are planned by the same people. We also started work for clients in Dubai.
2026
Building for AI search
Search is changing as people ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews. We now structure every site so these tools can read and cite it, alongside classic SEO.
