Three rules that avoid blurry, cropped posts
- Design at the full size listed (usually 1080 px wide), not smaller; platforms compress uploads.
- Keep text and faces inside the centre of the image, away from edges that get cropped on phones.
- Use portrait (4:5 or 9:16) for feeds and Reels in Nepal, where most people scroll on phones.

What size should a Facebook post image be?
1080 × 1350 px (4:5 portrait) takes the most space in the mobile feed. 1080 × 1080 square also works well.
What size is an Instagram Reel?
1080 × 1920 px, a 9:16 vertical video. Keep text away from the top and bottom where buttons and captions sit.
Why is my Facebook cover cut off on mobile?
Mobile shows a narrower crop of the same image. Keep logos and text in the middle third.
Is my image uploaded when I use the checker?
